offer two voice amplifiers on advice from Speech Pathologists
who have indicated this need.
The Moore
Voice Amplifier and the Broadcast Voice Amplifier may be particularly helpful for people who have difficulty projecting
their voice due to Parkinson's Disease.
Moore
Voice Amplifier (manufactured
by Moore Hearing)

for private, one-to-one communication using a headband

Moore Voice
Amplifier is extremely clear - background noise is reduced
when the microphone is placed close to the mouth of the speaker. Clarity
is enhanced by adjusting volume and bass or treble controls.

Option of two sets of headphones using an adaptor on the headphone
socket. This is helpful for family conferencing with carers
and doctors.

Broadcast
Voice Amplifier

The
personal broadcast voice amplifier can be worn around the
waist on a belt (supplied) or placed on a table to broadcast the voice within a room.

A headset microphone is supplied with the amplifier.
It is placed around the back of the head and rests above the ears.
The microphone could also be placed about the neck.

Six rechargeable batteries and recharger are supplied.The
amplifier weighs approximately 500g (including batteries).

Measurements: 18 cm long x 8 cm wide x 6 cm deep.

Broadcast Voice Amplifier is ideal for teachers, tour guides and others who need to protect the voice from repetitive strain.
