Voice amplifiers

We offer a choice of two voice amplifiers on advice from Speech Pathologists who have indicated this need.

The following voice amplifiers may be particularly helpful for people who have difficulty projecting their voice due to Parkinson's Disease.

Moore Voice Amplifier   (manufactured by Moore Hearing)

(kit includes amplifier, headband microphone, headphones, plugpac, battery saver)

  • Suitable for private, one-to-one communication using a headband microphone
  • Operates on battery or mains power (plugpac supplied)
  • Moore Voice Amplifier is extremely clear - background noise is reduced when the microphone is placed close to the mouth of the speaker. Clarity is enhanced by adjusting volume and bass or treble controls.
  • Option of two sets of headphones using an adaptor on the headphone socket. This is helpful for family conferencing with carers and doctors.

Price of Moore Voice Amplifier kit $254.70    (includes postage and packing).

The Broadcast Amplifier

can be worn around the waist on a belt (supplied) or placed on a table to broadcast the voice within a room. Conversations using the broadcast amplifier may not be private.

This amplifier has been successfully used to amplify the voice over a telephone.

A headset microphone is supplied with the amplifier. Six rechargeable batteries are supplied with recharging device.

$108 (includes postage and packing).
